Starting March 1st until April 30th, 2025 the Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh will be enforcing half-load restrictions on all designated roads to protect the infrastructure during the spring thaw when roads are most vulnerable to damage.

Due to a water main break, a Boil Water Advisory is in effect for the Huron Sands water system. The Notice will be lifted once samples taken have been cleared.
The boil advisory has been lifted. You may resume using your water as you did prior to the advisory being issued.

The Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh Council meeting scheduled for regular session on the 18th day of February, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. will now be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 9:00 a.m.
Due to inclement weather the Municipal office will be closed on February 18, 2025 and the Council Meeting scheduled at 9:00 a.m. has been cancelled.

We need your help! Without immediate action, the beloved Benmiller Softball program is at risk of being lost. The community’s involvement is crucial to keeping this program running, and we urgently need volunteers to assist with the program.
The MacKay Centre & Dungannon Seniors Centre Partnership is working to bring new programs to Dungannon.
As outlined in the Highway Traffic Act (R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s.181), No person shall deposit snow or ice on a roadway without permission in writing so to do from the Ministry or the road authority responsible for the maintenance of the road.
The Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh has agreed to contribute towards the preservation of the Bridge concrete refurbishment project. The investment reinforces both the physical structure and your commitment to community infrastructure.
A comprehensive 10-year Parks and Recreation Strategic Plan, along with Concept Plans, have been developed to guide the future growth and enhancement of public parks, trails, facilities, and recreational programs in the Township.

We have a limited number of Radon Test Kits still available. If you are interested in participating in the program, please pick up at the Township office. It will be first come, first serve.
