The Medical Officer of Health for Huron Perth Public Health has issued a Boil Water Advisory on August 29, 2024 for the Benmiller Drinking Water System.
The new Community Onsite Septic Inspection Fee has been included in the 2024 Final Tax Bills as a separate line item for local improvements. This charge applies only to properties with septic systems.

The precautionary boil water notice for the Century Heights Water System has been lifted.

The Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh recognizes and honours the achievements and contributions of community volunteers. These prestigious awards express Council’s appreciation of the many individuals and community groups who work to enhance the quality of life in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh.
The Canadian Armed Forces are coming to the area for a training exercise May 3 - 5. Headquartered in Blyth, the will be using the local community centre, campground and ball diamonds, along with the Wescast Community Complex in Wingham. Equipment will begin arriving in late April and the exercise will involve other Huron and Bruce County communities as well.
