Main Street Matters: A Small Business Week Celebration for Small-Town and Rural Retailers
Small-town retail is changing. Main Street Matters is a day to talk about what that means for rural retailers — and what can help local businesses stay viable, relevant and resilient.
Join retailers and the organizations that support them for candid conversations, fresh ideas and opportunities to connect.
The day will include:
- a moderated panel with retailers from across Huron County
- recent data on consumer behaviour, shopping patterns and demographics
- networking with other retailers and local organizations
- an afternoon workshop for retailers focused on visual merchandising
Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Cost: Morning $30 | Afternoon workshop $30 | Full day $50
