Waste & Recycling Cart Decline Form

Beginning July 20, 2026, the Township will transition to automated collection using wheeled carts. 

There is no additional cost for the carts. This is a service that is being provided by the Township through the annual operating budget, which includes the Waste Management Contract.  

You can decline to use the program, but declining a cart will impact your ability to participate in curbside collection services. 

Alternatively, residents may bring waste to the Ashfield Landfill, where a minimum disposal fee of $20 will apply. Please note that recycling is not accepted anywhere other than curbside pickup.  All waste must be disposed of in accordance with the law.
