MacKay Centre Dungannon is gearing up for a fun-filled October with programs and activities for all ages. Members are reminded that programs at both the Dungannon and Goderich sites are open to them, offering even more opportunities to get involved.

This month marks the launch of a new partnership with the Huron County Alzheimer’s Society and the Dungannon Youth Group to bring ukulele classes to the community.

Also running throughout October is a free six-week speaker series, “Taking Care of You,” held Thursdays from 2–4 p.m. The series will provide valuable information for adults at every stage of life, with registration required for each session.

To wrap up the month, participants attending programs on Halloween (Oct. 31) are encouraged to dress up in their best costumes, prizes may be in store for the most festive looks.
