Larry Brindley Honoured for 24 Years of Service

November 5, 2024, at the Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh Council meeting, Mayor Glen McNeil honoured long time employee, Larry Brindley for his 24 years of service. In a heartfelt recognition, Mayor McNeil congratulated Larry on his well-deserved retirement and expressed gratitude for his dedication and valuable contributions to the Township.
Larry's career began in 2000 with Colborne Township, shortly before the municipalities amalgamated in 2001. Initially hired as an Equipment Operator/Labourer for the Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh, Larry’s was promoted to Lead Hand in 2021, overseeing day-to-day operations in Public Works and helping to manage essential projects that improved the infrastructure and quality of life for residents.

As he embarks on this well-deserved retirement, we wish him continued health, happiness, and fulfillment in this exciting new chapter of his life.
