2022 Tree Program

The Township purchases trees from the Maitland Valley Conservation Authority (MVCA) and makes them available for distribution to property owners who request a tree or trees. Each landowner is limited to five trees each year, at a cost of $10 per tree. The property owner must pickup, plant, and maintain the trees. The Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh accepts no responsibility for the trees after pickup.

New this year: tree sales open on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at 8:30 a.m. Pick-up date for trees will be relayed to purchasers in the spring. You can purchase your trees by calling (519) 524 4669 or visiting the Municipal Office on March 1, 2022. Trees are first come first serve and there is a limited quantity of each variety. This year we offer the following varieties: Sugar Maple, Native Red, Red Oak and Bur Oak.
