A Growth and Servicing Master Plan will allow the Township to proactively plan for future growth. The plan considers opportunities, constraints and existing conditions to give the Township a better understanding of what our communities can look like in the future. The Master Plan is a long range plan that can look at integrated infrastructure systems over large geographic areas and can be customized to suit the Townships needs. They can be broad in scope and general in details, or can examine strategies or alternatives in detail. Strategies identified in the Master Plan can be incorporated into future Official Plan and Zoning By-law updates. A Growth and Servicing Master Plan would look at growth scenarios and identify and evaluate servicing options to support that growth further identifying future infrastructure projects, timing, potential costs. A first draft of the Growth and Servicing Master Plan is expected by the end of 2023.
