The Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh 
Requires a Full Time Lead Hand

The Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh is accepting applications for the above position to fill an upcoming vacancy within the Public Works Department.

Reporting directly to the Public Works Superintendent, the position will provide a variety of snow and ice removal maintenance, construction, and repair service to roads equipment and Township property, patrolling, supervises and coordinates work with contractors and municipal employees, and other tasks as assigned. 

QUALFICATIONS:

• Class AZ or DZ Driver’s License
• Communicates respectfully while showing courtesy and consideration 

The 2025 compensation range for this full-time, permanent position is $30.30 to $37.88 per hour with a 40-hour work week.  Compensation is reviewed frequently to ensure it is competitive within the market.  We also offer a comprehensive pension and benefit package.
